I found this recipe today off from www.KevinandAmanda.com. Its from another site www.plainchicken.blogspot.com. It has the weirdest combination of ingredients I think I have ever put together, but they were very simple and produced excellent results. They were very light and fluffy with a nice crunchy crust. They were slightly sweet and the first thing I thought of was "cornbread" tastewise.
I will definately be making these again! Enjoy!
7-UP Biscuits
2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/2 cup 7-UP (I used Sierra Mist because that's what I had in the fridge, bought for another recipe for homemade slushies)
1/4 cup melted Butter
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-UP. Makes a VERY soft dough.
Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out.
Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9-inch square pan.
Place cut biscuits in pan and bake at 450 degrees until golden brown.
** I also brushed a little butter over the tops of them when they came out of the oven.
